Terms of Service

1. Who these Terms are with

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and GMBC LLC, a limited liability company organised in New Mexico, USA (“GMBC”, “we”, “us”). By subscribing to a GMBC membership you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not subscribe.

2. What the service is

GMBC provides managed, verified membership in GMBC-operated Facebook communities. Each community is a separate monthly subscription. When you subscribe, you provide the exact display name on your Facebook account, we verify it, and we set up and maintain your membership in the community you subscribed to for as long as your subscription is active and in good standing.

3. What the service is not

GMBC makes no representation, warranty or guarantee regarding reach, engagement, views, traffic, leads, sales, income or any other outcome that you may or may not obtain from membership. Nothing on the GMBC website, in marketing material, or in any communication from us is a promise of results.

GMBC does not offer a service-level agreement. Setup, verification, administration and support are performed without any committed response time, completion time or availability level.

4. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must give us accurate information, including a working email address and the exact display name on the Facebook account you want membership for.

If the Facebook display name you provide does not match your Facebook account, we cannot verify you and your membership cannot be set up. You are responsible for telling us if it changes.

5. Membership is personal and non-transferable

Membership is granted to you personally, for the single Facebook account you verified. You may not sell, rent, lend, share or transfer your membership, your account, or your access to any other person or entity. Doing so is grounds for immediate termination without refund.

6. Billing and automatic renewal

Each membership is billed monthly in advance at the price shown for that community at the time you subscribe. Monthly is the only billing interval offered. By subscribing you authorise GMBC and its payment provider to charge your payment method that amount every month, automatically, until you cancel.

Prices may change for future billing periods. If the price of a membership you hold changes, we will tell you before the change takes effect, and you may cancel before your next renewal if you do not accept it. Any applicable taxes are calculated and collected by our payment provider where required.

7. Payment processing

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. Depending on which provider is active when you subscribe, that provider is either NMI or Stripe, and your subscription stays with the provider it was created on for its lifetime. Card details are entered into payment fields or payment pages hosted by that provider and are not transmitted to, processed by, or stored on GMBC systems. GMBC stores only a provider-issued reference token plus the card brand and last four digits returned by the provider for display.

GMBC does not claim any particular completed PCI DSS assessment on this page. Card data handling is performed by the payment provider under its own compliance programme.

8. Cancellation, failed payments and reactivation

You may cancel any membership at any time from your customer portal. Cancellation is self-service through the portal for every payment provider we use. On cancellation, your membership remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed after that. No further charges are made.

You may reactivate a cancelled membership at any time before the end of that already-paid period. Once the paid period has ended, starting again is a new purchase and not a reactivation.

If a renewal payment fails, we will attempt to collect it for up to 2 weeks. You can update your payment method in your customer portal during that window. If the amount is still outstanding at the end of it, the subscription is terminated and your membership in that community ends.

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Facebook, Meta and community rules

GMBC LLC is an independent company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Facebook remains governed by Facebook’s own terms and policies.

Your use of Facebook is governed by Facebook’s own terms, community standards and policies, which we do not control and cannot waive. If Meta suspends, restricts or removes your Facebook account, or removes or restricts a community, we cannot restore it and we are not responsible for that outcome.

Membership does not exempt you from the rules of the community you join. Those rules apply to every member equally and may be updated by the community administrators.

10. Member conduct

You must not use your membership to harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate or abuse any person; to post unlawful content; to distribute malware; to scrape or bulk-collect member data; or to breach any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate a membership, and remove you from a community, for conduct that breaches these Terms or the community rules. No refund is issued for a termination caused by your breach.

11. Content and intellectual property

The GMBC name, website, and materials we produce are owned by GMBC or its licensors. Content posted in a community by its author remains that author’s. You may not republish, resell or redistribute another member’s content outside the community without their permission, and you may not represent community content as your own.

12. Changes to the service

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue a community or a feature. If we permanently discontinue a community you currently pay for, we will cancel that subscription so that it does not renew.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GMBC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. GMBC’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid GMBC for the affected membership in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case those exclusions or limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we publish a new version number and effective date at the top of this page. Material changes are also communicated by email to subscribers with an active membership. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
